About Us

We are a couple of “Older People” who met online in early 2018, then in person during Eileen’s 2018 tour of the Pacific Coast, and got married in 2019.  Among the things we share is an ever growing bucket list.

Eileen is a retired Army officer, grandma, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints church lady, fitness & vacation fanatic, cruise addict, transcontinental cyclist, aspiring Appalachian Trail thru hiker, ice cream addict (especially Ben & Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk) and recovered 4-H & rodeo queen Mom. (Poetic, eh?)  In 2016, she was in great health, but had experienced some life changes that put her into early retirement, so she started working on her bucket list. Somewhere on that list was finding a husband to share her adventures with.

Links to her first epic adventures are below:

Item #1:  9/21/2017 Southern Tier Transcontinental Cycling Tour

Item #2:  8/23/2018 Pacific Coast Vancouver, B.C to Tijuana, Mexico Cycling Tour

Steve is a recently retired commercial construction contractor, Pops & Nono (aka grandpa), road and mountain bike and adventure racing demon, organic food and cold press juice chef extraordinaire, snow shoeing, water skiing, canoeing, hiking and camping enthusiast, and passionate member of The Christ of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He looks forward to a really really long extended honeymoon with Eileen and combining his bucket list with hers.

Together, they have bagged the tallest peak in Utah (Kings Peak), won almost every race in their divisions of the Utah State Games and Huntsman Senior Games, and cycled down the Pacific Coast–well, all but the portions closed by the 2019 fires.

Item #3  10/22/19 Reprise of the Pacific Coast Bike Tour, Without the Tent & Sleeping Bags
