2023 Atlantic Coast Bike Tour

On April 10th, I’m boarding a plane for the East Coast to participate in an epic fundraising event, and I need your support! I will be cycling 49 days to cover the entire 2992 miles of the Atlantic Coast, from Key West to Canada, and raise funds for a non profit called Bike the US for MS (Multiple Sclerosis). I am burning. The midnight oil to get my taxes done, my bike and gear ready, and everything in place for this ride.

This ride is very personal to me, as my Aunt Betty, a vibrant, beautiful woman, died of MS a few years ago, after years of slow, painful and debilitating deterioration. I’m proud to dedicate my ride to her!

For 2210 miles of my 2992 mile ride, I’ll be cycling with a group of cyclists who are also raising funds for MS, and our group will take 4 days off our peddling to perform service for MS patients like my Aunt. I personally plan to raise $5000, but our group hopes to raise a minimum of $100,000 to support research and treatment of MS at clinics and medical centers across the US and to fund home modification projects. If you are able, I’m hoping you will pitch in to help me achieve my $5000 goal.

Here are the two ways to make a tax deductible donation:

  1. To use your credit card, click on the purple ‘Donate’ link below, then click on the orange “Support Me” button on the page you are routed to.
  2. Write a check payable to “Bike the US for MS,” with my name in the “memo” line. If you are nearby, you can hand me the check. Otherwise, mail it to:

Bike the US for MS

P.O. Box 10001

Blacksburg, VA 24062

Thanks in advance for your support!

Please note that all donations are tax-deductible. Bike the US for MS Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization: tax ID # 27-2192426. This great non profit has been organizing fundraising rides since 2007, and they operate with precision and frugality to minimize their costs so the maximum amount of donated funds can be used to support their mission to eradicate this disease and help those who are suffering from it.
